Long before there were cars or movies, George Farquhar wrote the road-trip comedy The Beaux' Stratagem. The story follows two young men who leave London and head to the country desperate for fun, fortune, and female companionship. Replete with scenes of carousing, wooing and swashbuckling, this comedy, written in 1707, still packs a bawdy punch.
Performances are November 15th and 16th at 7:30 PM. Admission is free and no reservations are required.
