On June 15th James Randon ‘13 competed at the 2013 New Balance Nationals Outdoor in Greensboro, North Carolina, James raced his way to second place in the two-mile, finishing in a blazing time of 8:52:56. The New Canaan, CT native is now the fastest boy in Massachusetts state history to run at this distance. On Sunday, James also competed in the 4xMile relay race as well as ran the mile in 4:10:29, placing fourth overall among a stacked field of runners.
Congratulations to James on a wonderful career a Middlesex and an excellent finish at Nationals! We wish him the best of luck at Yale University, where he will matriculate in the fall.
