The campus has emptied out for the summer, but our buildings are still bustling with activity for several exciting new renovations. The Terry Room and the Athletic Center were both selected to be renovated this summer to ensure that we are getting the maximum use out of our campus while maintaining the integrity and character of these beloved buildings.
In the heart of Eliot Hall, a facelift to the Terry Room will convert it to a multifunctional space. The raised platform next to the windows will be removed, and the furniture will be redistributed to facilitate use as a study space, gathering area, and a performance hall for student concerts like "Freedom of Speech."
In the Athletic Center, construction on the student locker rooms is already underway. Due to the generosity of the Class of 1963 in honor of their 50th Reunion, the Boys' and Girls' locker rooms and the team rooms will be updated--a wonderful gift to the 300+ students that use them each day! Additionally, the weight and fitness center will be renovated with the latest weight and cross-training equipment and machines.
Many generous alumni, parents and friends made these various renovations possible, and we are grateful for their role in improving and maintaining our campus and buildings.
