David Lawson MX ’09 was recently named 2013 All-Atlantic Coast Conference as a member of the Duke University men’s lacrosse team. A midfielder, Lawson has scored 24 goals and 10 assists for 34 points for the Blue Devils thus far. He currently ranks third on the team in goals and assists and has already tallied 14 more points this season than in 19 games his junior year. The Westford, MA native has started in all 15 games during his senior campaign, helping lead his team to a current season record of 11-5. The Blue Devils are presently ranked fifth in the nation and are scheduled to play their final regular season game against Marquette on May, 5 at 1:00pm.
At Middlesex, David was a four-year letter winner in football, basketball and lacrosse and was named to the U.S. Lacrosse and Under Armour All-American team. His senior year, he was selected as Player of the Year by the New England Prep School Athletic Council and tallied 55 goals and 22 assists for 77 points. In 2006 and 2009, David helped lead Middlesex to two league championships. He finished his career second in career points with 197.
